Each day of navratri has a garba (a clay pot) and a flamed diya within it which is kept in front of goddess and thereafter a traditional garbi or garba group dance is performed by the nearby skilled town and villagers performs circular moves with the traditional steps, dance and traditional costumes accompanied by devotional songs, raga with a seasonal touch, and a live orchestra which seems amazing to watch!
The navratri traditions also includes fasting for each nine days and in remembrance of Goddess Shakti!
